***SPECIAL NOTE: Savannah’s “Open Container Law” has received temporary approval from City Council. Starting in January, the boundary for open containers will extend to portions of the Victorian District for a 90-day trial period.

OPENINGS: Joe’s at the Jepson is now open. Joe’s is a new cafe experience located inside the Telfair Museums’ Jepson Center and offers a fusion of relaxed dining and casual gourmet cuisine through an evolving artisanal menu inspired by the museum’s permanent collections and rotating exhibitions. Accessible without an admission ticket, the cafe invites you in to gather, dine, and drink.

CLOSURES: After 39 years of serving Savannah, Kevin Barry’s Irish Pub will permanently close its door January 1. Going out in style, they are hosting a blowout party for New Year’s Eve. General admission is $20 (cash only) at the door with a limited number of reserved seats in the Listening Room for $50 (currently sold out but you can add your name to the waiting list by emailing kbpub@aol.com.
