Potable Gold, Savannah’s Madeira Tradition: Join the Davenport House Museum for their annual celebration of the Madeira Tradition on April 1, 2,16, 22, and 30th at 5:30 p.m. Guests will experience the historic atmosphere of the Davenport House in a socially distanced format while learning about and tasting a unique and flavorful wine. Patrons are oriented to the long and rich tradition of Madeira as it relates to the history of Savannah and will participate in a Madeira party. The performance requires that guests be able to walk up and down stairs and maneuver in the candlelit rooms. Admission is $22 and guests must be 21 years or older. Attendance is limited to 10 participants per performance due to COVID-19 safety protocols.

Saturday, April 3

Glorious Egg Hunt: Bringing you a huge Easter event with food trucks, local makers and many local vendors. Gates open at noon with The Hunt starting at 2pm and continues while supplies lasts (so get here early and bring your favorite basket!); there will be over 1,000 eggs filled with treasures! A photo booth will be setup for photos. Event ends at 6pm. Right after hunting stop by the marshmallow station and make candied marshmallows for only $2 per child! 14 Brassler Blvd.

Elegant Easter Brunch – 700 Kitchen Cooking School: Interactive Cooking Class at the Mansion on Forsyth

This Easter, trade Easter eggs for Savannah-style Eggs Benedict and a Deviled Egg Trio during the “Elegant Easter Brunch” cooking class on April 4 from 9 a.m.-noon or 1- 4 p.m. This interactive cooking class at The Mansion on Forsyth Park’s 700 Kitchen Cooking School led by master-inspired culinary artist Jason Winn invites guests to enjoy classic Easter dishes, discover new holiday favorites and indulge in spring-inspired desserts. Mimosas will be served at the beginning of class in addition to coffee, juice, fresh fruit and danishes. Menu items include Eggs Benedict, ‘Savannah’ Country Ham, Collard Greens, Roasted Tomato Hollandaise; She Crab Soup; Raspberry Cream Cheese Filled French Toast; Deviled Egg Trio; and Roasted Rack of Lamb with Herbed Yogurt Sauce. Also enjoy desserts including Coconut Cream Pie, Key Lime Pie and Buttermilk Blueberry Pie.

Classes at the 700 Kitchen Cooking School are all-inclusive, providing guests with the necessary ingredients, equipment and guidance to prepare and enjoy delicious dishes paired with house wines, mimosas and other beverages.

Stone & Webster Chophouse offers a fresh atmosphere and exceptional service, delivering a new take on the American chophouse experience.

The Easter Brunch menu features a wide variety of entrée selections, including seafood dishes like Jumbo Crab Cake Benedict, Pan Roasted Atlantic Halibut and Fried Oyster Salad as well as Southern homestyle and American classics like Fried Chicken & French Toast, Steak & Egg and Braised Boneless Shortrib.
